Practical information regarding 1st of April :)

Our big day is approaching rapidly, and we are super excited!

Just wanted to post some practical information regarding the locations, transportation, and parking.

The ceremony
The ceremony will take place in Rælingen church at 2 PM. The address is Kirkevegen 24, 2008 Fjerdingby. If you are driving yourselves it is easy to find your way there, just enter the address into your GPS. There is parking right outside.

If you are not driving yourselves, it  is also fairly easy to arrive. Coming from Oslo it is best to take the train to Lillestrøm. This takes 10 minutes, and leaves Oslo S every 10 minutes. From Lillestrøm train station you can walk over to the bus station, and take the bus to Fjerdingby. This bus also takes 10 minutes, but only leaves every half hour. You should then go for the 872 (Vallerudtoppen) bus, which leaves from Lillestrøm at 1.30 PM. You should be able to catch this bus without any problems if your take the train that leaves rom Oslo S at 1.04 (L14 - Kongsvinger).

After the ceremony we will arrange transportation for everyone to the dinner location. If you have a spare seat in you car, feel free to bring someone :) Please don't drive off right after the ceremony, we would like you to stay for a photo shoot!

Parking
Unfortunately it is not possible to park right outside Samfundet, the dinner location. There is free parking outside Skedsmo Rådhus (city hall) on Saturdays and Sundays, and this is just 300 meters down the road. Apart from this there are numerous parking opportunities around the train station, and if you are staying over at Thon Hotel you can also park there.
